Mmmmm

Mondays are my new Sundays. I’ve extended my weekends into all aspects of my week. I use spaciousness as a strategy to create time to stretch, to roll out tension, to sit in silence, to write and to eat mindfully.

Here are some of my modes and methods for self care—

Movement: yoga, Anya, dance, steel mace work out, basketball, yard work, cleaning the house, biking and walking.

Massage: rolling out (styrofoam roller & Yoga Tune Up balls), tapotement, massage gun, thai partner massage and dry brushing.

Meditation: Seated, standing, brushing teeth, when chewing, in between thoughts, in conversation… exercising the pause. The breath is my guide.

Motivation: Goals, rituals, ceremony, setting intentions, aligning with my preferences.
